What is a Standard?

A standard is a document that establishes a rule or measure (either minimum or optimum) for quality or level of performance. A standard can be produced and/or adopted by national standards organizations, professional associations or societies, international standards organizations, or private companies.

  3. Type your search terms and click the Submit button

American National Standards Institute - Print Standards

The library has some standards available in print only. Selected standards are in shelving ranges on the north side of the 1st  floor of Valley Library.  (Call number TA368.A48).  Identify standard numbers using the search feature on the ANSI website: http://www.ansi.org/
