US Demographic Information:

U.S. Census Bureau  - Includes quick facts by state about people and businesses, as well as information about the nation as a whole.

American FactFinder  - The source for US population, housing, economic, and geographic data, from community Fact Sheets to detailed Data Sets.

Pew Social & Demographic Trends   - Data from studies on behaviors and attitudes of Americans in key realms of their lives, including family, community, health, finance, work and leisure. The project explores these topics by combining original public opinion survey research with social, economic and demographic data analysis.

Population Research Center - From Portland State University.  Includes the Oregon Census State Data Center, the Annual Population Estimates and Oregon Population Forecast Program.

NCHS National Center for Health Statistics -Statistics site of the CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Education Information:

NCES National Center for Education Statistics -The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) collects, analyzes and makes available data related to education in the U.S. and other nations.

International Information:

UNESCO Institute for Statistics - Primary source for cross-nationally comparable statistics on education, science and technology, culture, and communication for more than 200 countries and territories.
